Electric Pocket was one of the first companies on the mobile software scene, and has continued to explore and engage with emerging technologies. The company develops and publishes its own successful portfolio of mobile apps and services (most recently, the Pocket Mariner line of professional marine services and apps) and works on a consultancy basis, developing mobile solutions for other companies – both large and small. The company is based in the UK, between the cities of Bristol and Cardiff and works with partners all over the world.

Iain Barclay (Linked In)
Iain has been an active and successful member of the mobile and wireless community since 1997. Iain’s achievements include the development and sale of his “Haus of Maus” software company and the RoadCoders mobile developer web site. Iain holds a 1st class honors degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Wales and patents in eCommerce technology. Iain’s professional background includes software engineering and marketing experience with Hitachi and Hewlett-Packard. Iain has recently completed a Master’s degree in Information Security and Privacy, which included a dissertation on “Applications of Blockchain Technology in Crime and Security”.
Steve Bennett (Linked In)
Steve has a background of over 30 years in high-tech ventures. He was formerly CTO for a J.P.Morgan venture funded E-commerce Company, founding manager for HP’s E-Business Services operation and a Chief Architect of AT&T’s International Telecommunications Software technologies. Steve’s research on Mobile Telecommunications for HP was cited as one of the key contributions by HP Labs by Dave Packard in his book about HP. Steve holds a 1st Class honors degree in Physics; he has several telecommunication and internet patents and is a Chartered Engineer.
Richard Sewell (Linked In)
Richard’s experience includes over 20 years of software design and development, including service as R&D manager at a leading global eCommerce venture. During this time, Richard successfully built, from scratch, an end-to-end e-commerce technical infrastructure. Richard holds two Oxford degrees, a BA in physics and an MSc in theory of computation.
Kevin has over 30 years experience providing technology consulting in areas such as investment banking, market research, e-commerce and call center systems. His broad range of experience enables Kevin to undertake the entire cycle of software development, from initial analysis to design to programming. Kevin earned a B.A. degree in Computer Studies and Operations Research.
